Skyfire is the leader of the Battloid Wing. Not the oldest (his twin brother Jetfire beats him by 5 minutes), but certainly the most daring and bravest. His advancement to Commander-In-Chief is due to his highly analytical and tactical nature. While he is usually quiet and mild tempered, he will occasionally get a bit edgy when his brother provokes him.
In general, Skyfire prefers to just take it easy. Since there are no
immediate threats to him or those he is responsible for he takes the
opportunity to enjoy the more peaceful aspects of life. He gets some much
needed rest and reads many books. He also enjoys the occasional puzzle -
whether it be 2D, 3D, or logical - as a way of keeping himself from getting
rusty.
Jetfire is the oldest of the bunch and second-in-command.
He is the twin brother of Skyfire. He is also the fastest and most agile.
His speed and dexterity are unmatched by any of the others, traits that
Jetfire takes great pride in. He loves to play games, and generally gets
one or more of his fellow battloids to get involved in a game once in a while,
even though they are not too interested. He loves reading comic books, and
has a penchant for being a bit overzealous about discussing them. He has an
obsession with pinball that sends him into fits since he is too small to
reach both flipper buttons.
Firestorm is quite playful and hates just sitting around.
He gets bored if there is nothing to do that involves flying about or
sparring with a fellow battloid. This boredom sometimes becomes a problem
for himself as well as the others, as he will occasionally get involved in
activities that are more than he can handle, thus another battloid needs
to bail him out. He spends most of his time flitting about, darting between
trees, cars, squirrels, whatever happens to be in the way until Jetfire
notices and has to prove his superior agility. Firestorm generally takes
this as a challenge and on more than one occasion proves that Jetfire
may be the fastest, but certainly isn't the strongest.
Fireknight loves music and drawing. He enjoys the pure mathematical nature of music and its diversity, moreso the quieter classical or new-age style music than loud rock. Sometimes he'll listen to a specific piece of music repeatedly at a loud level, much to the disdain of his fellow battloids. Sometimes he'll doodle on a sheet of paper while listening, usually generating abstract images that have no real meaning, just a way of letting the pencil move across the paper however his hand lets it.
Fireknight spends most of his time alone. Occasionally he'll show up to
a gathering with a new piece of music he's put together, but the rest of the
group doesn't fully appreciate the effort required in its production. This
usually sends Fireknight into a short period of depression, where he longs for
someone to talk to that shares his interest in music.
Foxfire is Jetfire's son. As a result, he shares a lot
of personalities with his father. Being much younger, however, makes him
a bit more playful. He has a voracious appetite for knowledge, and Earth
is an entire new adventure, with more to discover than he can handle. He
also bears further proof to the fact that one day, a son will beat his
father at what the father did best. In this case, speed and agility.
Firefang has the most active imagination of the Wing.
He thinks of the most incredible stories, creatures, and locales that he
can entertain the entire Wing for hours with them. He's also the youngest
of the group, and as such, doesn't fully understand what it means to be
part of a battloid Wing, something that Skyfire tries to explain to him
patiently. Despite this, Firefang's presence is welcomed by the rest of
the group for his charasmatic personality. He also tends to dabble in
magic.
Firebrand got off to a bad start with the Wing when
a simple pratical joke involving sugar went too far. Since then, he
hasn't been able to regain any respect from his fellows. Despite this,
he plods on, doing the meanial work assigned to him, grumbling about
it quietly. He spends his free time alone, since no one else wants to
associate with him. Since this leaves him somewhat in debt when it comes
to social activities, he occasionally wanders off into other parts of
the house to meet new friends in the SD Gundam or Transformers sectors.
Firebolt is the tech-head. He loves building just
about anything. If left alone with Lego blocks (recently removed from
the house after numerous pieces were found scattered about), he will
build veritable monuments. His obsession, however, can change in a
matter of moments. As a result, nearly half his projects end up
sitting in a corner, covered in dust and half-finished. He also loves
playing cards games, an activity that Firestorm gladly joins.
